Thoughts please,

Currently in the process of replacing my old test equipment.
Capable of the routine tests - Earth loop, Pscc, Rcd, Insulation resistance etc....
£700'ish to spare
All in one seems favourable financially.
Recomendations please :?: :?:

There are a lot of good ones on the market, need to decide if you want all in one unit or seperates. Seperates in my view are better because if a fault occurs you still have two machine to use.

I would suggest looking around, once you find what you like i can tell you if its a good price or not.

Point taken about the seperates,
I've got my eye on the the all in one Fluke 1650 series.
Retailing at £750 (1652) & £920 for the 1653.
Is this reasonable?
Any Fluke 1650 owners out there?

Fluke rules - my best buy, 1652. Not £750 though - can't remember exactly, but not that much.

If you have seperates, and one goes wrong.......you can't do any testing jobs anyway, as you need ALL the kit. (unless it is fault finding, and sods law says its your megger gone squit!)

I've recently bought the Fluke 1652, it's here in front of me, lovely piece of kit!

I paid £554.26 + vat (list less 26% I think)

That was the cheapest I found. Where abouts are you, as this was from my regular leccy wholesaler in High Wycombe.
