Hi all and thanks in advanced for any help provided.

I have a baxi combi boiler and when i run the hot tap the boiler doesn't kick in anymore. I've tried resetting but still i get no hot water.

Any help would be great.

DHW Pressure Differential Valve (Fig. 66) 1. Drain the primary circuit.
2. Undo the screw securing the microswitch bracket to the valve (Fig. 65).
3. Disconnect the two sensing pipes and slacken the grub screws securing the valve to the diverter manifold.
4. Draw the valve away from the diverter manifold. The valve may now be replaced or split to examine the diaphragm.
5. To examine the diaphragm hold the valve body securely and carefully remove the six screws. The diaphragm spring will force apart the two halves of the valve.
6. Remove the plastic disc and pushrod assembly. Carefully examine the diaphragm and replace it if there is any damage.

Look under section 12.22 in the manufacturers instructions , u should be loking if the push rod mentioned is activating the microswitch

Find the water section in bottom left hand corner as shown in instructions and run the tap while watching the pushrod/microswitch u should see the pin move out and make switch if working ok, i guess u will see the rod move a bit and not fully make the switch if this is the case then u need to buy a diaphragm and follw previous instructions to install, hope thats clear enough, so at first its just a visual check to see if that is the problem

If you manually make the switch does the boiler fire and hot water light on front come on?

Deffo diaphragm the part is under a tenner and will probs take a diyer about half hour tops remember to turn water off first and drain by opening taps, take the gc number from boiler and head to parts centre they will sort you out
