As you say it is late ..your northern...and i'm feeling a little inebriated. And will no doubt regret speaking so openly about my 'crackers' in an open forum.

Well...where does t'north start then ? Iwas told everything from the watford gap up was north.

It's an old term, from the 40's and 50's I think, when they had council run public laundries.
