Yes their still are a few good people in the world. Usually people with strong faiths and a belief in God.

Though I don't think the perpertrator was upset. More like humbled at seeing human kindness and compassion in its purest form.

ah, so you've redefined "religious" to mean "having all the admirable qualities" and have fallen ino the trap of thinking that "not religious" means "having no admirable qualities." I guess there must be a lot of not-religious priests, bishops and nuns around.
