What Fga?

i am midway through my gas portfolio and buying all the tools as i go ( allready have my full plumbing kit) but the bloke i work with got his Fga from ebay a fue years ago and just gets it serviced every year and isnt really interested in brand or anything as long as it takes the readings and works but is there a brand that is more reliable? or cheaper to maintain? sorry to sound green i have asked the bloke i work with but he is a real old schooler and isnt into the fancy tools , cheers in advance

Contact a member on here called Kevinges he calibrates FGAs and is a top bloke he will give you a great deal

i got a kane 455
think ill get a anton sprint next time i have no problems with the kane what so ever great peice of kit just want to try out the anton...
as ian recomened try kevin at ges i brought mine from there and get its calibrated cant complan about there services so far...

I use an Anton myself as it does everything Temp differential gas sniffer as well as analyser but if you decide to get one dont leave it in your vehicle/garage in the winter the cold weather fecks the cells on them but still a great unit if looked after

I got a Kane 455 pro kit because servicing costs are cheaper. CO sensor has a longer life than most, and they offer a 5 yr warranty now if they service it annually.

Kane used to give unlimited warranty with an annual service.

Have a look at a Testo, Ive had a 327 for 5 years now and its still perfect despite being dropped and bashed about. They are probably more expensive than others but they are definitely the best. Call them up and they'll send a rep out to give you a demo on one, I also haggled with him for some free stuff with the full kit...
