Survey missed Unsupported Chimey removal from Bedroom

Hi Guys,

Boght a house over a year ago and whilst doing some other works I relaised how unsafe (I think) the removal of a chimney from a first floor bedroom is.

The survey when we bought the house did not mention this.

I am currently in the process of building it back up for support along with Building regulations for a stove.

Am I entitled to make a claim for the cost of building it back up?

Very likely not, what kind of survey was it? If anything other than a structural survey then no chance.
