Getting plasterboard upstairs??

I'm sure you'll all think this question is daft, but hey ho.........

I need to board over my ceilings upstairs in a small 1930's 3 bed semi, but will I get 8 x 4's up round and into the bedrooms?
 
All depends on the layout of the house, I can just about get them upstairs in my house but that doesn't mean that you will be able to...
 
Bigger sheet = less joints, I like the thought of 2400 x 900, didn't know there was such a size! I'll try using those if they are readily available
 
Hi, I believe that the more joints you have the stronger the ceiling?
