The swell of public opinion on most things is driven entirely by what they see on the telly or hear about on facebook.
This country is populated by mindless bstrds who can't think for themselves, and are very easily manipulated.
Abe Lincoln said "You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time."
You don't have to, you just need to fool enough of the people some of the time.
If you don't understand that this whole recent promoting of soldiers as heroes like never before, is a media phenomenon encouraged by the powers that be, as a way to get people to back their various dubious wars then you are one of the mindless bstrds.
