So the door handle to my back upvc door is dropping, it all still functions but doesn't sit correctly. Few questions:

1. Should replacing the handle fix this problem?
2. How easy is it to do? Watched a few videos online but just wary of taking my handle apart and not been able to put the new one on.
3. Any hints / tips?

Cheers

You probably only need new springs. Something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Replaceme...arden_Door_Accessories_LE&hash=item4ac494977e

Take out the 2 screws to remove the handles then search door handle springs on ebay for a close match, Nice easy job.

This is good to know, but the handle is looking a bit tired so will be looking to update it anyway. Is the removal of the handle to change (even if just doing the spring) as simple as unscrew and replace?

I have yes. Not the cheapest but there website shows how to measure the handles quite well and they do have a large selection of handles
