Where to postion Air Admittance Valve

I was going to fit a 110mm AAV but i cant squeeze one in so i'm going for a 40mm one.
I've shown 2 options on the photo which is best or would any of them do.

Yeah it would be higher than the sink, it just what setup to use

Higher than any water level associated with it.
If that's a basin the AAV would need to be higher than the basin lip.

Sorry for the confusion ,my question wasnt the height of the AAV but if it has to have its own feed or T it off the sink waste
