No, you don't want the transformer visible.
Some of the lights have a switch or a normal light switch can be fitted.
Some of the lights have a switch or a normal light switch can be fitted.
They don't usually even have a transformer. Fluorescent types have a ballast, iron cored or high frequency. Halogen or LEDs usually have a switch mode power supply, a transformer would be very rare these days.
So you are posting a picture of a switch mode power supply. Thanks for proving my point.
Pity the manufacturers mis labelled it.
