Hi
I switched off the water at the stopcock to change a kitchen mixer tap, i also turned the taps on the filling loop to try and isolate the boiler as recommended by tap instructions. When i turned the water back on at the stop cock no hot water comes out of any hot tap in the house. heating works fine.
I did inadvertantly pressurise the heating system to about 3 bar by leaving the filling loop open! I've drained the heating system and the pressure is back on 1.
When i turn on hot tap a little dribble of cold runs out or a few seconds and then stops.

Any ideas what's wrong? Any help appreciated.

Many thanks,
Gareth

Sounds like something is still isolated. Which valves did you turn off, because the filling loop won't isolate your hot water. A pic of the valves under boiler may help.

I think I turned the cold water inlet on, pointing to the boiler (as the system pressurised when I turned the mains water on) and the filling loop valve as well. Don't know which way now as I was rushing. I'll try and upload photo. Thanks

Water inlet is the 4th pipe!

Handle should be in line with pipe.

Thanks for your help guys. I turned the handle in line with the pipe and it's working now. Phew. Think i must have knocked it when fiddling with the filling loop! Doh!
Thanks again, much appreciated. :D
