slide compound mitre saw

I short-listed two mitre saws. I am looking for an accurate and good enough (for a perfectionist DIYer) slide compound mitre saw and I was wondering whether any of you could say which one of these is better. Or are there other ones that you's recommed instead?

I occasionally do high end commercial fitted bathrooms, loads at a time normally, but i also use it at my properties any where from roofing to simple skirting, i went for this

The equivalent Makita or Dewalt is around £700 i believe, which is a price worth paying if you are using the machine every day but i think this machine is absolute quality, all the usual brands at around the £300 price range didn't feel as sturdy and well made as this.

Try a local toolshop and get a hands on.

I dont know about prices but i do know that mitre saws are all about pretty specific uses.
Obviously, anyone doing framing or cut roofing or wide trim work would want a 10" or a 12" - but they are heavy.

For shop work or cabinet work then the smaller ones are just fine.

Most seem to swap the c/w blade for a good quality 60 or 80 tooth.

Some very cheap saws have blade wobble and loose setting at every cut.

Well said ree a 12" saw is not for diy I have used the hitachi and its a good saw plus its light.
