this is a diy site so im doing this myself to try save some money and learn something new by doing this job for the first time by myself.

just wondering what the general consensus was regarding the most reliable roof surfacing for a 15 degree pitch roof on a lean to timber workshop.

trying to avoid plastic coated panels and felt if at all possible and am a little cautious of using tiles when they'll be on the lower limit of usability.

quite like the idea of a metal roof but would it be practical to lay falt zinc sheets as opposed to the rigid forms that are made up on site?

clearly i have no idea of all the pitfuls so feel free to contribute your humbling opinions on my project.

roof is approx 4 x 7m if that makes any difference.

cheers all

Not sure I follow this bit, zinc would work fine on a 15° roof but its not really DIY as you need specialist tools to do the seams etc.

There are tiles that go down to 15°, just because they are on the limit is of little consequence provide workmanship is up to scratch.
