zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

I know how you feel, Squeaky. I have had little sleep these last couple of nights due to a persistent cough. I know it doesn't sound much, but cough mixture, aspirins and various tablets offer only brief periods of relief.

How come they still can't cure such things like the common cold?

Pah, the 'common cold' is for wusses, what about 'man flu'? Now, that's a proper ailment.

How long have you had a cough? The Mrs had one for several weeks (5 years ago) and was eventually diagnosed with COPD.

She had given up smoking 20 years ago.

Now you mention it, I think that's what it must be. I'm off to bed and the wife can make her own tea when she gets in.

I gave up about 8 or 9 years ago, so you could be right.
