Heating circulator incorrectly sized?

Hi D_Halisham,

I've not yet had chance to go to my new house and measure them yet. I'm buying the property from my mother and so I've been doing this stuff pre moving in date when ive been around.

...because she never mentioned anything about them being a problem.... And I don't routinely go around my mothers house checking to see how warm each radiator is....

I am buying the house.....so I want it working. When you start to move in somewhere you tend to start noticing things that previously you didn't notice for example when you are loading boxes into back bedrooms ready for when you move in fully and you feel the radiator is cold in there....

Under stoichiometric conditions it's approx 60C; but as burners are normally adjusted to work with 5-10% excess air (oxygen), so as to improve efficiency, dew point lowers to approx 57C. 55C is often quoted as the return temperature to aim for.

So you now understand how O2% in flue gas plays a role with respect to flue gas dew point temps?

I guess you will bring this up in future threads considering you are now a self confessed combustion engineer.
