Today will be the last time I'm seeing Darren a sparkie that's bought a house in france and is moving shortly.
Expat community where's he's moving ........

He told me this, the English owner of the bed and breakfast that he's been staying at when he pops over there took him to a small town ( can't remember the name ), showed him the english fish and chip shop, pub and small supermarket, in the town square these chaps were lounging about and smoking and on there smart phones ........Darren asked who they were ............. oh we had a lot more but they've gone back to Calais ..........housed, they are taught french, trained to gain useful employment then they're on their own .......no benefits, stand on you own two feet .......apparently the majority went back to Calais.
Do you know why ? I don't but I can hazard a guess !

Nice to know that gasbaggi has at least one migrant friend.

I suppose if UK exits EU, and freedom of movement within the EU no longer applies, he and the other expats will be sent back. Perhaps he can apply for Scottish citizenship when they have another go at independence and EU membership outside the UK, and move back to France as an EU citizen again.
