Was listening to the Jeremy Vine Show today and they were on about David Cameron’s scandalous honours list.

Someone phoned in with a very good idea, he suggested that Nigel Farage should be knighted instead, for his outstanding services to the country.

Even Vanessa, as argumentative as she is, couldn’t argue against it.

You do not get 'honours' for kicking against the establishment.

If the country prospers fantastically - not happened yet - after brexit - not happened yet - perhaps, then, he will.

He has spent 25 years man and MEP to get us our democratic vote to leave the EU.

That has to be worth more than some Downing Street cronies that tried and failed to keep us in!

...but the powers that be didn't want to leave.

He's a renegade. Those who dish out the honours don't like renegades.

Guy Fawkes didn't get an honour, either.

But the question is, should not will he get a knighthood.

As far as qualifying for a gong is concerned, I'd say he (Farage) is a couple of places behind Peter Sutcliffe and one behind Ian Huntley, in the que.

Now you come to mention it, I think Guy Fawkes should get a posthumous knighthood for his efforts to parliament.

Well he did try his best.

The greatest Englishman, certainly since Churchill, if not before.
When you think of the array of treasonous politicians/establishment he has had to constantly fight against to even get this referendum he is probably the greatest of all.
Let's see any of the usual gobshites, or anyone else on here listen to all the points he made in the above tape and give us their arguments against them.

Like him or loathe him he has had a pivotal role in the history of this country.

Cameron miscalculated the feelings of the majority of the electorate and thought he could sound the death knell of the ukippers and leavers unfortunately he got it completely wrong. Cameron should have remained neutral and quiet while the referendum went on, but no he had to come out with all the end if the world rubbish.
Quiet honestly I've been suprised and saddend by his honours list which shows the measure if the man .........services to hairdressing for goodness sake.
I must confess to not having g this view before but the man's a buffoon.

Regarding Farage he must feel a very satisfied man.

Nigel Farage is by far the most successful politician in modern times, he has achieved what he set out to do, whatever he does in the future I wish him the best of luck and thank him for giving us back our rights to a democratic society.
