I can understand deleting posts if they are offensive, I can understand locking threads ....but to alter a post so it no longer makes sense or to alter a post/challange to JohnD so he can evade answering it ........very childish.

No. 2 year old daughter of a girl that works with my wife rushed inot hospital early this morning. She has been sedated, eyes taped shut and put on a drip. We are waiting more news.

A friend of ours is having chemo. I saw her at lunchtime and her left arm is in a right state with heavy bruising and her veins an angry looking red.

My wife comes home from work and tells me over dinner that one of the young girls that works for her has been battered black and blue by her boyfriend who the police have locked up.

We were working for a scots fella a while back , he was a tenant in a property. And he made mention in conversation some thing about his son ?

I sort of latched on to the comment ( wish I had not tbh) about his son.

He was a geologist for an oil company working is some country when he had a call telling him to go home immediately. His wife put his 6 year old son in the car along with his 10 year old daughter to go to the air port to pick up her father

they got hit by a lorry from Latvia , his entire family was wiped out . wife & 2 children. He was renting the property in question because he could not bear to live in the family home.

One minute every thing is good & in a split second his world was destroyed
