noah built the ark, it was most probably, in the desert, no harbour,or anything built to launch it.

then the rain came , and God shut the door of the ark.
i bet they were banging on the door to be let in, but once the door was shut, there was no going back.
same whith the gospel, of Jesus and offer of salvation,,people will mock and laugh at it, but God has an appointed time,once God shuts the door, you wont be able to change your mind, it will be over for you. you will be face to face whith him, on your own,before him, and give account of every deed,thought,and word.

How could he ?, you say he doesn't interfere.
And how did Noah know about the impending flood 100 years before it happened,. I suppose God told him. but you say God doesn't tell people what to do.
Don't get me wrong. I do respect you for your faith in God. But if you want people to have the same faith in God as you have then you have to appear to be credible. It will make you appear more credible if you filter out from the bible texts those at are not logical before you quote from the bible.

you say, i cherry pick, the good bits, which is not true, but you seem to just pick bad parts only.

God instructed noah, so yes he told him.
genesis 6;13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
why did God close the door of the ark? and not noah closing door.
because closing the door of the ark,would mean the doom of those on earth,and only God has that authority.
some of the questions are not easy , and i admit i dont always come clear on it. so i understand what you mean about filtering ect

How can this be true? It's like it was made up...
Oh, there's that nice bit of Christianity coming out again.
I thought Jesus was the son of God?
