Whats best tool I should be looking to get to break up a patio?

Looking to remove this section that jutts out. I am also considering removing all the old flag stones and replacing with something else.

This is rear of garden with a long driveway to front. With regards to actually removing it and putting into a skip, whats the best way? Hard graft with a wheelbarrow ? Cant get skip up drive so its gonna be on the street id say.

JCB Beaver Pack would be the fastest way, but also the most noisy.

You can hire some pretty powerful electric kango's too, our local hire place does a 15Kg Hilti one that I used to break up huge concrete fence post foundation.

Thanks

For getting a clean cut if keeping old pavers beside house, do I need to just hire a concrete saw? Any advice on getting a straight cut?

If they are set in concrete they won't come up very well at all. A job to be done by hand if you want to try and preserve anything.

You could run a 9inch grinder along the cut line and breaker to remove the rest, careful use may get one or two slabs out intact which could be used to repair any damaged ones.
