Ive got a single coaxial socket fitted at one end of a room. The cable comes down from the roof aerial behind the plasterboard walls.
I’d like to split the cable at/near the point where it enters the socket install a second socket on the same wall at the other end of room which is about 3.5 metres away. id like to do all of this keeping the cables nicely hidden away from view.
The carpets are stripped out so I can lay wood flooring so i figured that not is the best time to add the additional socket.
Problems/obstacles.
Because im laying wood floor and not carpet, I can’t get away with just running the cable below the underlay as it will hinder the fit of the wood floor
The base floor is solid concrete, so I’ve not got the option to run a cable under floorboards to hide it.
The walls are dot an dab plaster board so i could feed t cable between the gap plasterboard and brick, but...... the fireplace is bang in the middle of the wall
Has anyone got any other suggestions as to how i can go about this?
