just had extension with ufh in 50mm screed. Boss now decides the gas needs to go to the middle of the f**g room to the kitchen island. Not the back wall as originally located.

Is this possible now? Best method? Channel the screed out? FFS!

Tell her it’s too late and if she wants the hobs on the island she can have electric ones

Since an electric hob will need a cable, I think you're down to a charcoal barbeque.

What do you want to know?

It's water ufh and 50mm calcium liquid screed on top of insulation & membrane, it's not sand and cement screed hence why it's shallower.

Is it possible to channel any out or not advisable? I have water & electric to the island not gas originally the cooker was going on the back wall

It's 2 metres

Installer said to check with builder, builder said no too late he's finished the extension

What's under the screed?

It's water ufh

I guess the UFH isn't actually under the island itself?? But even so, you have very little chance of achieving this.
Unless the floor construction is block& beam and you can get underneath.

Even if you did, you'll need power as well as gas to the island.

ALso the extract fan will need to be above the island, where you probably don't have it on your original plan......
