What the job you have done? A massive dormer,
Yeah. Basically it was a dormer house prior but with a dull looking flat roof dormer 2/3rds of the way across the house. I removed the existing dormer and re-built the entire first floor frontage with what you see above.
When the scaffold is down I'll show before and after pics.(y)

I calculate if that is 9mm timber on the windows that bird would have been flying at 120mph to go through it
 
I hope you are replacing the ground floor windows as well so it blends in a bit, I like that cement cladding how did you gauge your plank spacing's?

Planks are 190mm deep and there is a 30mm overlap, thus leaving 160mm showing. We just cut a piece of batten at 160mm deep and plonked it on the top of the starter plank and drew marks.
 
Sounds similar to my approach.
I did see see some adjustable clamps that were specific to
this job on a U.S. site that looked perfect but I can't find
them over here. (n)
