But you did propose mitigating circumstances, implying that the lawbreakers should not be charged.
Those mitigating circumstances are totally irrelevant to whether lawbreakers should be charged or not.

Poor old JohnD is still sulking because remain ran such a rubbish campaign, and all ge has left is 'its not fair, they sneaked in some donations and didnt declare them'

You have to understand the methodology.

Those behind the leave campaign couldn't tell the truth - namely 'we'll make a fortune out of brexit'.

Thus they had to convince the gullible that they were of the same 'train of thought'.
Thus analysing likely leavers voter intentions/reasoning ('reasoning' in the loosest sense of of the word course), and coming up with (amongst other things) a bus painted with a big lie!

Of course said gullible are saying now it didn't make a difference - even if they've twigged they've been had!

It'll be the same when it all goes totally pear shaped.
The leavers will blame remainers for not enthusiastically jumping off the cliff with them.
(Well it's already started actually).
