Great news for Billionaire Tax-dodging multinationals

I wonder if House of Fraser, john lewis, debenhams etc think that is a suitable answer too ?

They are probably more concerned with the difference in business rates and high employment needs for a retail bricks n mortar compared to an internet only business model.

So the taxation position does not bother them?

Not disputing the other facts.

It seems like it bothers John lewis

It has to be stopped.

Monopolies are ruining this country.

I hate the fact that the highstreet and online is dominated by a small number of MNCs.

booking.com for example -cream off too much profit from small B&B owners

Ebay / Etsy -the same
Amazon marketplace -the same
Tesco the same
Uber

etc etc

I think he did. You just glossed over it and tried to move the thread on, past the initial point.

But to address your point. Nobody has accused them of breaking the law.

Do you think leaving the laws as they are is a good future to look forward to? Or do you think the establishment (brexiteers voted anti establishment, remember ), should be left to unequal market forces ?
Then why does John go on&on&on&on&on about this issue, they've not broken the law, so what?

Since 1000's of Amazon employees require state aid to enable them to work for Amazon, shouldn't this company be forced to reimburse the taxpayer.

Because he is left wing and hates anybody making money.

We all know its wrong...........the fact its legal means its a government fault. since that's a Tory government JohnD hates that. And so and so and so on and so on.

Notch is right-wing and hates to see working people earning a decent wage.

He's a dumb turkey voting for christmas. I wonder what his net wealth is as he seems to favour policies that will impact him and his friends & families.

There is nothing wrong will making profits or getting rich.
However as the government is constantly lecturing those at the bottom about standing on their own two feet and not to expect support from the state, is it right that these big companies should be given what is in effect a corporate welfare handout.

But that's the case for most companies...

The state (aka the normal taxpayer) subsidises corporate profits via tax credits/benefits...

That's the nature of the capitalistic beast!
