Leaky toilet waste

Hi guys.
Installed my new bathroom suit this week.
Noticed some water round the new toilet today, the waste pipe seals on the pan ok,
it's after you flush it comes back past the seals that sit inside the soil pipe,toilet connection is a smudge lower than the external soil pipe but only slightly ,why is it leaking back?

Did you use a brand new pan connector ,they have several rings that usually make excellent watertight seal to plastic waste pipe. Is your waste pipe plastic or lead ? Have you deformed the seal when inserting into the waste pipe ? Which pan connector have you used , make / type etc . Are you sure its not leaking at the wc pan outlet to connector ? Thats more common .

Hi this is the one I used, it's the only one I could find to fit as 110mm ones are too short so I got this and cut it down to size.
My soil pipe is plastic.
It's defo leaking from within the soil pipe back past the seal.
Not sure if it's deformed ,I can see the seal and it looks ok?

The link takes me to a picture of a NUT !!!! So i am non the wiser . what did you cut ,not the seal surely ? Its likely the seal itself is the problem , suggest you take the pan out + connector and examine it.

Put in 36680 into toolstation search.
No the seals fine,the waste is long ,I cut it down and put the seal back on, I've had it out and inspected twice ,

Cant say i have ever used that brand . is the seal a tight fit on the pan connector and a tight fit into the waste pipe ? If its leaking it really cant be. Is the waste a pipe or a fitting ,theres a difference in internal diameters. Can you get a pic of it ?

It might be crushing the seal slightly thinking about it,might need to invest in a flexi but would have to cut the original soil pipe back to fit the shortest one in I find. The gap is too short at the no for a flexi and too long for a 110mm decent waste

But is the seal being forced out of shape inside the soil pipe?
It doesn't take a lot to distort the seal

It's hard to see inside but when I looked earlier the seal seemed uniformed either side with no gaps ,wonder if I move the toilet across left or right it might seal better

I was asking about how tight is the seal onto the white plastic ,where you cut. If the seal is tight there ,and its a tight fit into the soil pipe , i very much doubt its letting water past. Is it possible that the leak is above ,cistern to wc pan ? Put some tissue on top of waste pipe and flush a few times.

I'll have another look tomorrow .to be honest the seal slips on the end of the waste pipe fairly easy if I remember rightly, there's no drips from cistern it's what I checked first.
