Has anybody got experience of wireless Pyronix systems? How long do batterys tend to last for PIRs?

Fitted a wired one for brother and want to do same for mines but lots of chasing walls for wires which can be done but door contacts which will show wire im guessing before running under floor.

If wireless are decent systems will be alot easier

Yes once,

But looking to change all wiring as it needs extended to corners etc, i fear they may be abit brittle after 24 years too

Maybe twice, I only remember it kept going off once and changing battery fixed problem

Wired would be better then,

In terms of security a wired system is always better than a wireless system.
