Is drying clothes in the house unhealthy

B

Bodd

She drives me nuts

Im sure I'm lucky as she is a good find but there is plenty that drives me nuts about my good Lady.

Sometimes after washing the clothes, she's leaves them damp screwed up together sitting on the side.
I tell her this is not healthy and makes the clothes smell musky.

We have a super vandangled tumble dryer but she still does it.

Ever feel as if you bang your head against a brick wall..

Do you also wash clothes and put them in the tumble drier as you want?

Lead by example (y)

Behind every great man is a great woman.

On the basis that you, yourself, don't think that she's all the great, then you, yourself cannot be all that great.

Oh, BTW, sexism is is over, you lot lost the battles & the whole of the war.

That's like her buying me a Lawn mower and cutting the grass herself.

I can’t work out if you are being serious. You are saying you bought her a washing machine so you don’t have to use it?

I hadn't said that I don't use the washing machine or the tumble dryer or the dishwasher.or the cooker

What I'm saying is she leaves (occasionally ) washing screwed up on the side damp.....
My question is now, is this healthy. (More my point)

That is why I asked what you do when you do the washing up too gauge why she would not follow suit hence the expression lead by example.

You either put it in the tumble drier or hang it on a clothes horse for example?

Not unhealthy, will go smelly and will need washing again..

Perhaps you should just pick em up and sort em out instead of complaining. We all do things that annoy the other, don't we? Perhaps she was extra busy making you something nice for dinner?! Or perhaps she just couldn't be ars ed. Either way, scores a lot of points if do something off your own back without being asked, or being thoughtful you know.. you'll be in the good books :)

That's is what I do. Just feels like ground hog day... but your right. She did a lovely steak tonight.

If you had one or more hands you could put the stuff in the drier yourself.

Then why not consider it one of 'your jobs', just as am sure she does things around the house over and over again that you don't do? In our house for example I do the rubbish every day then sort it out on bin day because the smell makes the other half feel sick, but I don't iron much because I hate it and it takes forever am so bad at it.
If you accept that it's your job, then you'll let go of the feeling of being wronged whenever you see a basket of wet laundry. It's just part and parcel of living together.

It's all team work... I do what I'm good at and she does what she's good at... And it generally works.....

Its just a bug of mine that needed airing
