Yet another rich Brexiteer quits Britain!

dummy.

What year do you think the Normans invaded England?

What year do you think it is now?
I am not that far out am I? Ok 2066 ,it probably seemed like a thousand years to the Anglo-Saxon.
OK who introduced the class system to Britain.
The working class drink Ale and the upper class drink wine and own properties in France ,what is that all about then .

Are there any remainers who do not live in the UK for tax purposes, I wonder?

Not sure about A, but I could start at B.

But hey, that's a Brexiteer cheerleader for you...

Tell the plebs what to do so they can be exploited, and then reap the rewards!
So another rich person leaves the UK to pay less tax. Has this not been going on for some years? Certainly before brexit was in the pipeline anyway.
So what is it that bothers people so much these days? That they aren't paying tax in the UK and the treasury loses out, or that they were vocal when talking about brexit?

It's relevant that the anti-EU campaigners who put us into this omnishambles are scampering away from it.

We already knew that the well-established tax-dodgers wanted to hang on to the generous treatment they received

Why are the Tory fanatics eager to run away from the EU?

of course it's not because they want to give more money to the NHS.

What sort of crook would say something like that?

Did he? Down to him is it? Well, hanging is too good for him then.

(and I think you meant 'is' scampering away).

So the brexit thing is the real reason why people are peed off. I did wonder why other companies who have moved don't get a mention...

thank you for pointing out my missing "s"

Very amusing.

Companies that are victims of the brexing omnishambles have been mentioned many times.

Opprobrium attaches to the instigators.

Welcome.

Was Ratcliffe an instigator or a supporter of brexit? I thought the instigator was Cameron and a few of his chums..

The Labour Party rent there HQ from an off shore company

Off shore = a tax avoidance scheme :sneaky:

Strange world really Buffoon Corbyn and co supporting the buffoons in the ERG  all celebrating with bubbly when they won the vote

They never made the headlines. Wonder why.....
Moving a company out of the UK and the UK losing a lot of tax, that I can understand why people get peeved, but I can also understand a company moving out to pay less tax.. (greed will override patriotism with most!). However, someone who supports brexit and moves out gets vilified because they happen to have an opinion on the UK's membership of the EU is just another example how out of hand this whole thing has become. Has this man caused brexit? Did he make people vote to leave?

As I said, there are many companies who moved out and have done for years, but because their stance on brexit was never made public, it seems that they have committed a lesser crime somehow...

In fact the richest in Britain!

"A prominent Brexiteer and Britain's richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is set to quit the United Kingdom in a bid to save billions in tax, it has been reported.

The 66-year-old, who was knighted less than a year ago for his services to business and investment, is reportedly planning to save up to £4bn with a move to Monaco....

Ratcliffe has been working with PwC on a tax avoidance plan, which could also benefit two senior executives at his chemicals company Ineos."

Of course he'll still carry on trying to change UK laws so that he can pollute the countryside with his fracking interests - and not pay anything back for the privilige!

But hey, that's a Brexiteer cheerleader for you...
