Moving Internal Soil Stack Advice?

Good Day All,

I'm after some advice. We are in the middle of designing an extension and removing an internal wall that is in the kitchen. In the corner of the wall is a soil stack from the main bathroom. Ideally we want to move this externally as right where the soil stack sits is likely where the new oven will sit so we need that space and don't really have alternatives due to the design and shape of the rest of the room.

So my question is. Can the pipe be taken directly out the wall in the bathroom. vertically down the wall outside and then come back through the wall below worktop level in the kitchen and join to the existing drain point.

A lot of builders have said they won't do that or it isn't allowed and would need do go directly into the ground at a new drain point? But lots of searching around I find a lot of conflicting information.

Don`t understand why you want to come back inside, just run it outside and straight down.

because the existing drain point is on the internal side of the wall and runs below the house to the downstairs toilet and then out to the manhole, if that makes sense

Probably best if the drainage guys advise what needs doing to keep it all outside.

It's a very messy way of doing it, and liable to blockages which would be difficult to clear. Just dig up outside and connect in there

Definitely do it outside.

If the downstairs toilet comes along the same horizontal pipe you can connect with a new rest bend and Y-junction.

As above. Building regs frown on bends in the wet part of a stack, you will have noise issues from falling waste from above hitting the bottom of the bend, and it'll just give another pinch point for blockages.

If the existing drain runs internally from the existing stack, to pick up other appliances, before exiting the house elsewhere, get the builders to extend it through the outside wall to meet the new external stack position.
