Can you think of anyone who stuck up for the bankers as much as I did. I defended them

Yes yes

We are all.pretty much in agreement that Johnson is a buffoon and not fit to run a welk stall let alone the country

Problem is and u fail to understand

None of us are in the Tory party !!!!

We do not get to vote !!!!!!

Perhaps u may be better advised to take yer views to the party members after all they are the bell ends who are going to vote

So why do quitters persist in telling us that we are 'getting our democracy back' from the 'undemocratic' EU?

Its the party that is elected not a leader.
Its a change of leader and same situation if another party were in power.

what are u going on about :confused:

It would appear that ? u do not know how this leader ship for the tory party works ?

Its the member ship of the tory party who get to choose the next leader of the party ;) They will decide if bufoon Johnson becomes the leader / next PM ;)

doubt if any one in here is a member of the tory party ? so they cannot influence the result ;)

probably the same scenario got bufoon corbyn elected as the leader of labour i.e the party members , some of the bufoons who voted for bufoon corbyn could well be in here :LOL:

I am not a bufoon  so I am not a member of any political party

both corbyn and Johnson are an embarrassment to the country and imho they should both be thrown out the coutrry  along with you

I couldn't care less which party it is, because that is irrelevant - it is the system that is undemocratic...

So do you think that 0.3% of the electorate voting for our next leader is 'democratic'?

Perhaps you should go to one of those countries where precisely 0.0% of the population get to chose their leader and see how far your spouting gets you. At least over here you can voice your (often wrong) opinions.

It is not undemocratic.

At election time a voters chooses the party he or she wants in power and does so on the understanding the leader might change during that period.

Of course it is relavent which party it is -a vote is not cast for the prime minister (apart from 1 constituency), a vote is cast for your local constituency MPs -you can choose whether to vote on local lines, party lines or the PM at the time of the election.

Most people vote on party lines, so a change of PM is not undemocratic.

Do they really?

So how come much of the election campaigning is based on personal attacks on the leaders?

But can you tell me the last time that a party was elected in the UK by the majority of voters?

Ah, the same old 'if you don't like it here...'argument.

Always spoken by the loser in a debate of course, since they've run out of points to make - yet again in many cases :)
