Jeremy Corbyn should be hanged

You real have a hang up about nothing.
Just because you by default think of yourself as subservient to others doesn't mean more enlightened individuals have to do the same...

But hey, if that's what you've been taught to believe then I guess it's a case of whatever floats your boat...

No doubt your response when told to bend over, is 'how far'? (n)

you actually know very little about whats going off, the membership are fully behind Corbyn, its has doubled in size to over half a million strong..but the plp who are the Blairites, still want the party to follow the centre right politics, and they are doing their best to undermine Corbyn with this antisemitism rubbish, but moves are under way to get them to stand for re selection, hopefully every labour party MP should have to stand for re selection, if they are representing their members and doing well, then they will get to stay, if they are trying to undermine the party and not representing the their members, then hopefully they will be shipped out....democracy at its finest, no MP should have a job for life, he should earn it on its merits

That approach though its principled wont win enough votes, we have always been a right leaning country. Last 40 years we have had 28y of Tory Gov and 12 of labour.

ou are talking nonsense again
How is making an Ad Hominem attack furthering the discussion.

you are mixing things up by talking about labour members and labour voters....forget labour voters, we are talking about labour party membership
No, wrong.

You are mixings things up. Ive explained clearly the reason why labour party members do not represent labour voters.

You have avoid answering how inter party democracy is not democratic in a wider context because it doesnt suit your bias.

The proof is out there, Labour voter support has shifted.

Support for Jeremy Corbyn’s party has been growing for years in large urban areas but falling in the most working-class seats, according to a study of constituencies in England and Wales by the Fabian Society thinktank, which is affiliated to the Labour party.

Its research also revealed a “growing hostility” between Labour’s old and new core voters, creating a tension at the heart of the party, which has been riven by internal strife over its direction since 2015

As for Chukka and the rest, they were never in the right party to start with , they are Blue Tories
Over simplistic partisan view that doesnt reflect reality. Politics like life is far more nuanced.

New labour were not simply neo liberal -they achieved things which had core left wing Labour values.

New Labour in power accepted some private access to the functions of the state, particularly on the capital side: but it also rolled the state forward into civic society, via hugely increased employment across the third sector that was dependent on government spending. The creation of a national minimum wage and a tax credits system benefitting the low paid halted the remorseless march of inequality that had so scarred Britain in the 1980s. Some focused interventions, for instance on rough sleeping, returned life-changing results for many. The numbers of people sleeping out on England’s streets on any given night fell from 1,850 in 1998 to 440 in 2010.

School performance improved markedly, especially at the bottom of the attainment distribution – and, in London, at an astonishing rate. NHS inpatient waiting lists fell from 13 weeks to four weeks between March 1997 and March 2009. The public noticed, as perceptions of school performance and NHS performance shot up

You say people like Chuka Umunna shouldnt belong in the labour party.......

This is a quote from an article written by Umunna. It is clear he turns his back on neo liberalism and austerity. Yet you couldnt accept him in the Labour party. Why is that?

We must become the party of national renewal that unites our country. Theresa May and the Conservative Party cannot fulfil this role. They are the party of capital and the moneyed interest committed to the free market orthodoxies of the old order. Labour must once again embody the values of work, family and community, and support those unable to work. We must build a broad popular coalition around a democratic settlement committed to ending inequalities of power, wealth and opportunity. This will provide the foundation for a post-Brexit strategic approach at home and abroad

Frank Field: he is somebody that has spent many years campaigning against poverty. He has campaigned against the roll out of Universal credit.
So you dont think a person that is against poverty, can exist in the Labour party?

Perhaps not...but I vote what I think is right, not what will win
Winning is required to make change.

Pragmatism is a core value of politics.

Ironically Corbyn has no qualms about fence sitting to try and keep both leavers and remainers on side, but he cant build alliances within his party to embrace moderates to attract voters.

Corbyn has been hijacted by his commie stalinist upper class advisors, they dont care about traditional Labour voters, they are using the Labour party as some elite liberalist experiment.

The sad thing is corbyn has some great policies, which he could be in power implementing.

Instead he would rather dencounce any MP with a connection to Blair -despite many of them having the same ideals about reducing inequality, ending austerity etc.

Most Corbyn supporters hate Tom Watson -the man who campaigned to resricts betting terminals -a good thing surely?

was not this Watson bloke some how involved with that Carl Beech case ?

The labour parliamentary party want rid of Corbyn ;) lets face it he is not really up to the job any way

Bufoon Johnson will walk all over him in question time in the house of commons :)

I really dont understand what you are talking about, labour party members are not there to represent labour party voters, and who is to say what a typical labour party voter is anyway? the labour party is based on socialism, if the voters have turned away from socialism then that is not the fault of the labour party, it just means that people dont have socialist views, if people chose not to vote labour then they have a choice to vote for who they think represents them, but i dont really see any point moving to the right just to get elected, as you stated Corbyn has some great policies, re nationalisation, a peoples bank, if people chose not to want that, then that is up to them, perhaps they are happy having their services slashed and tax cuts for the rich...
One last point that i want to stress, you talk about Watson, the likes of him are one of the main reasons that the party is polling so low, he would rather see another Tory government that a Corbyn led labour one, he is using antisemitism as a stick to pull the party down, it was only the other day he was proposing that any ACCUSED of antisemitism be kicked out of the party...WOW TALK ABOUT DEMOCRACY.?..that is kicked out without any evidence, i find it really funny that his sidekick Hodge has now been accused of antisemitism herself and Good old Tom hasnt said a peep? funny that isnt it?

in all honesty, the voter has not really been offered anything different to right leaning politics tho, what choice has the voter had, now they have a choice
