Thermostatic shower off unbalanced supplys

If a thermostatic shower is installed on unbalanced supplys, pumped hot water from and emerge heater and tank and cold from mains. If single check valves are Installed. Will it work to a good standard? Swapping it to balanced supplys isnt possible so I have been told.

What was the reason given ,that makes it impossible ? A thermostatic valve needs equal / balanced pressures to function properly.

Use a pressure equalising valve and it’ll work perfectly.

I wouldn’t recommend them if they weren’t.
