The costs of Brexit

HS2 costing can not be estimated to the nearest £10B after years of costing and building...Yet Notchy can say how much Brexit costs, to the penny, before it happens.

At least HS2 will have something to show for it.

Err... not really, monumental waste of money.
Only for the tax payer...

Those who fund the nasty party will do very nicely from their modest political donations...

Many will also no doubt get an honour, or be given a seat in our 'wonderfully democratic' second chamber!

And only the relatively well off will actually be able to pay for that extra 20 minutes 'saved'!

Yes, but thede will be something to show for it:

A huge great railway track and infrastructure carved through ancient woodlands and the cause of great swathes of demolished buildings (whose owners arent being compensated properly).

Somebody is making money out this colossal waste of taxpayes money.

I just keep looking at the £100b+ price tag and thinking that could do a lot to improve the rail infrastucture across the North.

Oh I dunno John Bishop seemed to do ok out of it, but yes I agree..

Could not give a ff if its 100years transition dude.

Quote: During the transition period a kind of standstill would be in place where current trading arrangements between the EU and UK would continue. The idea is to give time for a new deal on the future relationship between the EU and UK to be worked out after the UK leaves. During the transition period the UK agrees to continue to abide by the EU’s rules and to be subject to the rulings of EU courts, but will have no say around the EU table.

You're ok with 100 years of this?

Well swerved Notchy,,,Now THAT you are good at...Tiz all you do...Oh,,and reproduce drivel and call it “fact”
When HS2 is built there will be tracks and fast trains.......something to show for it.

What will brexit have 'to show for it'?.......a UK EU trade arrangement less good than now
Worse trade deals around the world than existing
Chlorinated chicken pie
GM food
Smaller GDP

It doesnt matter what the numbers are, they are all negative.

The UK will be a small country trying to negotiate trade deals with much bigger trade blocks.
History shows the UK will be weak in negotiations and will end up worse off.

Fact old bean

Durhamplumber wants the UK to be weak
Durhhamplumber wants the United Kingdom to be btoken up
Durhamplumber is an appalling traitor.
