Mira Sport Max 10.8kW Shower keeps running on cold after switching off

I know that this shower has a design/safety feature which lets the water continue to flow for just a a few seconds and gradually cool down after it is switched off. Recently the length of time that the water continues to flow has increased significantly and it now runs for at least 15-20 seconds, where the water temperature is very cold for the last 10-15 seconds. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the cause and possible cure for this? Thanks.

It won’t do any harm running on longer as long as shower works otherwise normal.
But I would assume it is the phased shut down board that is faulty

It only has one PCB I think, so it would be an expensive entire board replacement. I would guess first at a sticking solenoid valve.
