I'm going to stick some 6242y into the sensor and from there a 6242y to my LED spotlight for my porch.

If you really want a wall mounted PIR, they are available from UK suppliers.
As are the more usual ceiling mounted versions.

If you buy unknown untested tat direct from China, then any and all problems caused by it are entirely your responsibility.

I spend a lot of money buying unknown untested tat direct from China and I've never been stung. I spend more money on aliexpress than I do on amazon and ebay combined.
I always follow two golden rules:
Buy items with lots of orders and buy items with 5 star reviews.
In this case I will potentially be paying £2.50 for something that will cost me £10+ from a UK supplier.

I just need someone to tell me I'm shooting in the right direction as I've never fitted one of these. Or do I need something slightly different?
