Total disgrace Imho.

Alright then, it's happening at my local health centre, too. Two dispensers removed from toilets last week alone. Source: the practice manager

Very reliable source then , someone told someone who told someone.

Dunno if that's how it was? This was a senior manager / hospital. Official talking on BBC radio 4

If u doubt what she says take it up. With the BBC ;)

Happened in the Essex hospital where my wife works. No sanitiser left. Fact.

why the surprise?
when the chips are down so is the average decency in average human beings.
the me, me, me crew of self-centred selfishness.
much worse is probably coming down the pike.

as one or two on here will clearly remember - during WW2 blackouts the incidence of muggings reached record heights, and crime in general rose.
bombed houses were often instantly looted, occasionally with live victims ignored, & still buried under the debris.
women sheltering in the London Underground were assaulted.

in the meantime we, hopefully, teach our children honesty and decency by example - by leaving the toilet paper and sanitiser alone.

I'd better watch for pickpockets going down my coat pocket, I always carry some for when walking the dogs. :)

Some 3 years ago I was @ an auction where cases of hand sanitiser were going for next to £0. Wish I had my crystal ball then.;)

It's a conspiracy

An attempt to under mine civil liberties ;)

It's a good time for governments to Bury bad news ;) surpress protests under the guise of public health concerns ;)

Skullduggery is afoot ;)

could be - but do you reckon those thousands of people who've died were just being awkward - the kind of folk who just have an interest in scare mongering hogwash?

anyway, they'll get theirs when the chips are really down - can you imagine it; rearing up an dyin' just to scare people?

No. Matter what

Plenty will make money out of this caper

Private health providers
Bog roll manus
Tin can companies
Insurance companies

Ect ect

suffering is always good for business.
war is the most signal example of human suffering being good for the hard faced men aka corporations.
the WW2 US govt built factories all over the USA often in locations to suit the Mfr's of planes, autos and pharmaceuticals etc.
after the war the factories, plant and infrastructure was handed over to the Mfr's who had planned for after the war.

despite billions of dollars in subsidies neither GM nor Ford motor co ever managed, or bothered, to build a useful tank in 4 yrs of war.
both GM & Ford carried on aspects of manufacturing in Nazi Germany from the early thirties until about 1943.
US banks maintained business in Germany all through the war.
US Pharmaceutical companies had research and manufacturing business in SS slave labour factories throughout the war.
All this, & more, was known at the time and since - no one was ever punished.

notice how in Britain a marine Sgt,
and in the US a SEAL Cpo were hung out.
In Vietnam Lt Calley, and a SF major were hung out. no Kissinger, Mcnamara or Westmorland in the slammer.
During Nixon's bombing of N. Vietnam, after he'd declared the war was ending, 1000,000 vietnamese and 15,000 Americans died.

this week is 75 years since the TOKYO fire bombing murdered 100,000. LeMay the responsible airman was promoted.
Harris of Dresden was refused a statue - but later the Queen Mum, Bless her heart, unveiled one.
