Stihl strimmer head replacement?

Do u know where I can get the top bit for my stihl multi tool strimmer head? It keeps on flying falling off on my van and believe it might have flown off into another garden, not sure. You can see the bit missing in picture

I guess the number is one of these .

On the strimmer head it says PA66 (in first post photo). I uploaded a zoomed in photo of that

Obviously I did and got allsorts of different ones so was confused about which to buy.

The number you gave is for the spool. I just need the retainer or cap or whatever it's called.

I don’t know, other than to say it looks about right! I’ve only ever bought the spools complete.
I’d get in touch with a Stihl agent really - the item you have there seems to come from the Orient so you may have to wait for a while.

A local dealer had a complete head and sold me the cap for £15. Just realised the metal thing where the cord comes out has fallen off. Maybe should have got the whole head for spare parts.

If you google something like stihl strimmer eyelets you'll maybe come up with something....a bit of a drag, that!

If the end kept coming off it was obviously worn so should have bought and used the new head keeping the old for spares. Now whats that saying about being a pennywise??
