If you use a 128GB stick, based on my experience with a 16GB stick on this recorder. I would estimate that you will be able to record somewhere in the region of 56 hours of normal television (not HD programs) before the 128GB stick would be full up.

Well, it just arrived. I plugged it in the HDD USB port on my telly (Panasonic Viera), I got a message flash up saying USB detected. I looked online and it said to go to setup>usb setup to format it. However, the only option I get when I click on my USB is 'safely remove device’. That’s it. Any suggestions?
