TV Aerial - BBC signal breaking down

Sorry to poke my nose in here, but I live in south Manchester (Gatley, to be precise) and, although we have no problems picking up transmissions from Winter Hill and receive very good pictures and sound on all channels, we have been having intermittent loss of EPG signals.
Probably quite unrelated to the OP's problems, but just thought I'd mention it.

My aerial only has horizontally polarised elements.

Yesterday early evening seemed mostly good reception but then BBC1 started pixelating. We switched to 751 and 752 and there were no further occurrences for the rest of the evening.

I'll keep my eye on the Freeview website.

Thanks again to all for the helpful input.

EPG is carried in a data carousel on every multiplex so takes some time to compile from switching on a TV, STB or PVR.
EPG issues are probably down to specific make and model of the set concerned?
I know some older SD-only devices have major problems with the plethora of TV/radio channels and lack of memory inside.
This would be better in a separate thread, really.

Yes. My apologies.
