Is air con water OK for batteries and irons?

I expect inside the air con there is some metal, so not really distilled and clearly not demonised, but is it good enough?

I suspect that you'll find it contains a lot of airborne dirt and dust which will build up in your devices as the water boils off. If you run it through a coffee filter first it might be OK.

Would have thought rain water is ok to use for steam irons, just bear in mind it can take hours to catch the water in that little aperture

I use water from a dehumidifier in my steam generator type iron. Just run it through a filter jug first.
