Help: Which underlay?

Hi

We are going to fit laminate flooring in our first floor and we would like to go with one of this underlay. Any recommendations please.

The only problem with screwfix product is that its out of stock for a while now and not sure when will it be back on stock.

QA one is decent. Duralay Timbermate excel is better if you can get it

Thanks for that. We've carpet in first floor now and yes - we do hear lot of noise in ground floor.

Its indeed very expensive.

It looks like the one sold by screwfix is actually Duralay Timbermate excel, but in the name of Woodtex

Thank you, just found their website. I will call them tomorrow for the price - It'll be worth a drive if they are cheaper as I need around 60-70m2.

Sure. I bought them from screwfix (guess it was also duralay timbermater, but sold as woodtex) when we did our ground floor. Guess each weighs around 20kg

It’s more like 40kg mate. There is 15m2 on the pro one 10m2 on the Diy One.

Is this same underlay in terms of quality. The price looks ok.
