Racist ? Let's start the ball rolling ...

No. It’s usually drug dealing related. No poverty there unless you can provide evidence to the contrary. Maybe it’s just a theory of yours?
Empirical evidence was discussed just the other day. That empirical evidence proves the theory.
Practically all social scientists and political leaders would agree that crime is caused by poverty, which in turn is caused by structural inequality.
Think Singapore with it's high (ranked one of the highest) income per capita and equality, with its low (one of the lowest) crime rates.

So many flaws in your logic there you're wasting mine and your time ownership isnt legal ownership etc or your choosing to frame your argument to suit your needs.
Moaning on about the weather or just getting on despite and just working with it. Ie working with all colours not only liking the weather when it suits you...omg. no more replies to you, you haven't listened to me.
Thank goodness for that. Your posts are becoming more and more difficult to decipher.

Name me a single word exclusive to any other race etc which excludes everyone else and is prohibited from being used by anyone else.
This is a fair point and something i often question but.....

Uhoh here we go.. the old you dont understand it routine.

Unless you're black and have been on the receiving end of the word used negatively towards you by someone of a different colour then how could you understand?

Also i wouldnt say it prohibited as such....just not the done thing.
Much like how its not okay to refer to gay people with the terms which, 25-30 years ago were commonly used by most in off the cuff remarks

There is a nuance (or several nuances) between 'don't agree', 'disagree' and 'oppose'.
Most of the posts on here that do not support the movement are either vehemently opposed to the movement, forcefully disagree with the movement, or emphatically support the movement.
I don't see any posts on here that profess ambiguity or ambivalence. Do you?
Do you not think that those that vehemently oppose or forcefully disagree have covert motives?
If not, I'd like to hear your opinion of why people vehemently oppose or forcefully disagree with the movement.
Let's be clear, we are not talking about violent protest or vandalism. We are just talking about the movement, 'Black Lives Matter'.

It's a yank movement to deal with issues they are having with their police. And yes they have a point for their own country and culture.

My view is that the title, sentiment and motivation is purely (or at worst mostly) for the yank black community, and not any other parts of that community - not hispanic, not Asian, not Muslim. Black African only thanks.

And W(hy)TF is anyone in the UK concerned for a bloke killed in another country? Where were these BLM protests when Khashoggi got murdered, when the Indians were being expelled or locked up in the Middle East, when China was cracking down on black Africans? Never mind when the black kid murdered because he is a Somali, that don't matter its not a racist attack because its a black on black thing. Nah, leave that one.

But here, its been hijacked as a cause by the left, by the anarchist, by the disgruntled remainer, by the white hippy dole scrounging anti-capitalist/police moocher who's only connection with other races are the dreads they have culturally appropriated.

These are out to white-wash history for their own agenda. And its a black day for that. They don't really care about most of Bristol being built off the slave trade (no buildings are being toppled I notice), or that the university educating them is only there because of the person who financed it (they are still happy to attend, just remove the name and statue). No, it's that old "I'm offended" mantra, so I wont tolerate anything I don't like. Cant't debate anything, can't protest peacefully, can't lobby. Can only just express violent pseudo-outrage - while actually doing nothing for race harmony in the process. It just seems so black and white.

Not saying you're wrong but. have a read up on why the word is mutually exclusive to any other race. That's not the main reason. Dont forget many blacks haven't been called it or suffered from it.
I've been called a few names including racist terms and other terms but none are free to use by race or colour....

White people must have a superior understanding of racism.
you would certainly think so from this forum.

Absolutely on the head thankyou.

Maybe it’s because it’s fairly rare for white kids to be stabbed. Let’s be honest, most stabbings are black on black and when something is happening day in, day out, like it or not, it becomes less newsworthy.
But those kids are still someone's kids. So the frequency shouldn't matter.

Exactly. I cant understand why so many white people are out protesting. Surely only non-whites should protest - no Irish, no Poles, no gypsies, no Romanians, no (white) Catholics no .....

SMH. What a stupid comment.

.

I dunno, maybe they feel they want to add thier support and contribute to promoting more unity instead of division which is unfortunately what we see so much of these days.

Either way, its not a bad thing.

You been to Singapore? I used to go there regularly on business. What do you think of the people, how they behave their laws and how they operate?
