How do people go about this I use long screws and hammer the plug thought to the breeze block below. The problem being is the compression effect on the plasterboard is there is no dab behind the wall.

Do they stop the compression on the board?

Yes, "Corefix bridges the void between plasterboard and the solid wall behind with STEEL thereby preventing the plasterboard from crushing into the void (as is common with many other types of fixing)."

Thanks are they suitable for boilers? Usually work on new builds so always get the plasterer to sold dab where the bracket is going to be so have no issues with the board pulling in.

If there's a concern then ask the customer to get a joiner in to cut a section out and replace it with batons and board.

I could cut a section out where the bracket is. Timber in then if it's bad.

I use corefix, not used them for a boiler but a heavy radiator.

The wall Anka look good
