No glue loose lay vinyl tiles.

Has anybody any experience of these plank tiles?
I was a bit sceptical but when placed on a floor it takes a bit of pressure to move them. I looked at them in a store and the principal looks good in theory.
The ones I've looked at are made by Amtico. Not sure if that is a decent make though. Any info welcome.

The Amtico that I'm thinking of getting is being sold locally for £29.99 a box with 1.76 m2 in it. So I'm happy with that but I know it's usually more pricey.
Taking it up is one of the reasons for me getting this instead of a clicklock. I'd like to have access under the floorboards in the kitchen. Then again I don't know whether it can be laid straight onto decent condition floorboards. If I have to fix ply down first then that advantage is gone.

I would only need access between two joists so was thinking of cutting and screwing a piece of ply along that then sheeting the rest as normal.

Not really no. Is it affected by sunlight?

I've been doing a bit more reading up and gaps appearing has been mentioned. Not gaps from the tiles moving but from shrinkage, which is a bit worrying.
It's only two small areas I am doing so I was going to glue the long edges which won't be against any walls and float the rest. I'm starting to have second thoughts about using it at all now.

Fit with expansion gaps around the room, ensure floor is level and lay on a very very firm underlay, not foam, laminate or engineered wood underlays, they are all too soft even in fibreboard or dense roll format like Timbermate or Multitex.

We fit alot of Parador Solid LVT click product on their Solid Protekt underlays and don't seem to have the issues of shrinkage or joint failure that you can read alot about online.
