Hi

I posted on the previous thread and we have decided to just replace the shower mixer as it is too old - The problem is we want something that will fit the existing cutouts of the aqualisa so the no holes or alterations are needed

I have a quick look on toolstation etc but I could not find much - Does anyone know which showes would have the same cut outs and pipework positions so I can just swap out

The Aqualisa Colt (round) seems to be the same as the Aquavalve 600 series (with a new name on it) but AFAIK is only available in the recessed version.

I will go and look on my shelf.

Wow john you are amazing thanks a lot - Does the recessed shower fit into an exposed? i would not mind reusing the housing to keep the shower cubicle watertight and intact

Here we are. Aquavalve 900, surface mounted, including the plastic shroud. New, unused, boxed, old stock. You can have it for £120

Note that this one has a pressure balancing cartridge, and a single knob that goes off/on cold/warm/hot

I have one on a Vented Cylinder, and put one in my friends house on a Combi. Pressure balancing means it compensates if, e.g., someone turns a tap or washing machine on, and the pressure fluctuates.

AFAIK it has all the bits, but I would have to go through the parts list to make sure.

By all means take advice from others. I would not knowingly rip you off.

Thank you so much.
Is this a like for like replacement with no cuts outs or drilling required. Does this take 22mm pipe work or does it have to be reduced

it would also be super helpful if anyone can confirm the width of the pipes on my aqua Lisa. Is it 150mm because if it I can simply buy a new mixer shower and slide it on. It it needs elbows and reducing it makes the job much harder. Of course I can use compression fittings but it’s just awkward in an enclosed shower cubicle
