Hi,
I am looking to reinforce the floor of my shed as we're going to use it as a gym. I've ordered some 19mm ply, but need some advice on what screws to use to keep it flat. The shed floor is approx 1" thick. I've looked on screwf** but there are too many types, wood, timber, decking ??? help !!

cheers
Rich

Wood , timber , decking all the same, so any will do, decking are usually coated .

i was going to try to get the joists too, is this a problem?
no problem going for the joist but then you need 2.5 times material thickness in the joists so 18mm plus 19mm + 27mm = 60-70mm off 4.5-5mm or mega money for screws where as the floor will by its nature will be very secure :D

Another question, i will get this done at some point, how much space should i leave around the edges for expansion?
