Hi all

I've attached a pic of a male plug connector I require. The male comes off a Halogen Oven bulb (which I need to replace) and it slots into the female on the Oven itself.

The company, Andrew James, has closed down so I can't get a replacement bulb off them.

Does anyone know what the Male connector is called so I can track one down, please?

Thank you.

Without wanting to get involved in long web searches - it occurs to me that a connector used inside an oven may need to have suitable temperature ratings.

those linked to connectors are only rated to 85c so might not be suitable
what oven is it from?

Sounds like it's not an oven as we know it, so I withdraw any comments about temperature rating of the connector.

Perhaps I can get by with one of these: www.molex.com/molex/products/part-detail/crimp_terminals/0304902002

If it's just attaching the wire onto the above and slotting the above into the other connector, will that work?
Yes, if, of course, they are the same.

Remove the pins from the present connector and see.

If not, carefully remove the wire from the existing pins and solder to new wire, or

cut the existing wire at the existing light and fit to new light.
