Pipe work for Rads

I am building an extension and starting to plan the radiators, there is basically one on each side of a stud wall kind of next to each other (not back to back).

I have worked out where the feed is going to come from but i cant get my head around how to get both of the feeds (they start right next to each other through a wall).

Everytime i draw it out the feeds cross each other, i would like this not to happen if possible, am i trying to do the impossible?

Are you running plastic or copper?


You could run two serrate flow and returns the run back to a manifold or 22mm F&R.

Better still would be to fit UFH
 
It going to be plastic, did toy with UFH but ultimately decided against it.

I only have enough space to do one flow and one return.

Should this piping be 22mm, i think i have 15mm

You could run 10mm to each radiator as long as you going back to 22mm or a manifold supplied by 22mm.

This way you can run all the way to each rad with only two fitting per radiator. I don't like putting push fit in floors or walls unless they are accessible.
If you do it the way I say you will know that the only fitting used will be under the Radiator valves.

OK so what we are saying here is 4 x 10mm feeds (for 2 rads), that is certainly possible but i am not too sure what the two fittings are per radiator. Is this one at each end, the only reason i am asking is because there will be a few bends/joins to get them from A to B

For example, flow feed a will be joined by a manifold at the 'source rad' then the actually 10mm will go through a few angle joins to end up in the final position.

I'm not sure i will be able to bend the pipe (im talking plastic here) to the right angles without using a join. Unless we are talking copper

You can make a manifolds Flow & Return with 22mm copper. then convert to plastic (be sure to use inserts)
Pipes 1 & 3 will be flow
Pipes 2 & 4 will be Return

You will need an odd and an even to each radiator under direct to valves. In an ideal world you will run each pipe from manifold to radiator using one 90 bend under the radiator. The more bends you use will add resistance.... Resistance is bad... No 90 degree bends is best. I don't like using any fittings under floors and walls. But you will know where they are and you may be able to make access.

Any plastic pipe should beat least One meter from boiler.
 
You will need to test and possibly balance system before you cover the pipes to make sure all works.
